At NextEra Energy Transmission MidAtlantic, we believe in cultivating strong relationships and contributing to the well-being of the communities our projects call home. Being good neighbors is important to us. The proposed MidAtlantic Resiliency Link will improve the reliability of the electric grid, allowing it to better withstand extreme weather events and other disruptions. Learn about the positive impacts of the project below.

Reliability

The MidAtlantic Resiliency Link will increase electric reliability, minimizing the likelihood of outages. The project was selected as part of a portfolio of transmission solutions to address reliability concerns resulting from the retirement of power generation sources, support for cleaner power sources and additional electricity demand in the region.
